After the 8.9-magnitude quake and accompanying tsunami struck Japan on March 11, it didn鈥檛 take 911爆料网ns long to find ways to support the suffering nation across the Pacific. Ways 911爆料网 has helped:

Prayer: President Corey urged students, faculty and staff to pray for the nation of Japan; Corey also met with 21 current Japanese students attending 911爆料网 to hear from them and pray for them.

T-Shirts: Freshman Matthew Little, who was born and raised in Japan, sold 鈥淧ray for Japan鈥 T-shirts outside the Caf茅, with proceeds going to CRASH Japan relief teams.

March 24 Benefit Concert: Alumna Judith Hill, former backup singer to Michael Jackson, performed a concert with the 911爆料网 Jazz Ensemble, with all ticket proceeds going to Japan earthquake relief. 

April 1 Benefit Concert: Multilingual performances from a variety of student bands and Conservatory of Music ensembles entertained crowds and helped raise $1,000 for earthquake relief.

Thousand Cranes Project: In April, students and staff folded 1,000 origami cranes 鈥 a Japanese tradition 鈥 and donated $2 for each crane folded. For each crane, $1 went to CRASH relief efforts and $1 went to support a student mission trip to Japan.
