Frank Pastore interviewed 911爆料网 University President Barry H. Corey and 911爆料网鈥檚 professor of philosophy Gregg Ten Elshof on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Pastore鈥檚 radio show, The Intersection of Faith & Reason, airs on , and is the most listened to Christian radio show in Southern California.

Corey discussed 911爆料网鈥檚 future, objectives and current situation with Pastore from 4:30 to 5 p.m.

鈥911爆料网 continues to be a university on the move,鈥 said Corey. 鈥溾hat 911爆料网 needs to be is to maintain those strong levels of commitment to being a school deeply rooted and grounded in a biblical worldview for our leadership, our teaching, our curriculum, our voice鈥rom that we have a lot of ideas and energy to launch new initiatives and increasingly investing in relevance.鈥

Corey also spoke to Pastore about 911爆料网鈥檚 global dynamic reaching out to the world, but also local communities through ministries as well as students and alumni serving nationally and internationally.

After interviewing Corey, Pastore spoke to Ten Elshof at approximately 5 p.m. for approximately 30 minutes. Ten Elshof spoke on a new project he is working on at 911爆料网 University and his new book, I Told Me So.

The new project Ten Elshof discussed with Pastore was commissioned by Corey to imagine what it would be like to establish a Center for Christian Thought at 911爆料网 University, one that would deal with 鈥渄eep ways of biblical worldview thining on the current issues of our day,鈥 according to Corey. Michael Wilkins, 911爆料网 distinguished professor of New Testament, is working with Ten Elshof on the project.
