With spirits higher than the scoreboard indicated, the annual 911爆料网-APU men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball showdown was full of energy, enthusiasm and team spirit on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Alumni, students, parents and friends came out for the annual rivalry wearing all manner of 911爆料网 gear, from 鈥淏eat Azusa鈥 and 鈥淭he Red Sea鈥 t-shirts, to pom-poms鈥o a group of bare-chested 911爆料网 men, each emblazoned on his stomach with a red-painted letter, together spelling 鈥淏IOLA UNIVERSITY鈥 (see photo). A sold-out pre-game alumni dinner in the Caf茅 Banquet Room provided enough food, fun and energy to last through both games. Though the outcomes were not what we wanted (women鈥檚 game: 911爆料网 50 to APU 70; men鈥檚 game: 911爆料网 57 to APU 70), we鈥檒l be back next year!
