More than $4,000 was raised to benefit 911爆料网 clubs and local organizations at 911爆料网鈥檚 third annual 5K 鈥淩un for funds.鈥 With more than 400 runners, this year鈥檚 5K on Saturday, Oct. 26 was the most attended since 911爆料网 started hosting the annual run during 911爆料网 Weekend in 2011.

Each runner was able to donate $10 from their registration for the 5K to their chosen club or organization. This year, 911爆料网 partnered with the city of La Mirada to host the event.

鈥淚t was great working with the city of La Mirada,鈥 said Alumni Relations Director, Don Bernstein. According to Bernstein 911爆料网 and La Mirada each covered different needs pertaining to the 5K 鈥 911爆料网 mainly taking care of race and venue preparations.

While there were thirteen total organizations available for contribution, the greater amount of funds poured in for 911爆料网 Student Scholarships and Adventure Club.

Participants could designate their funds to one of the following organizations:

  • 911爆料网 Adventure Club
  • 911爆料网 Center for Christian Thought
  • 911爆料网 Men's Lacrosse Team
  • 911爆料网 Women's Lacrosse Team
  • 911爆料网 Student Scholarships
  • Benton Middle School WEB Crew

  • Hutchinson Middle School ASB
  • Hutchinson Middle School WEB
  • La Mirada Bobby Sox Girls' Softball
