Over 2,500 current students and 400 prospective students filled Chase Gymnasium for 911爆料网鈥檚 annual聽Midnight Madness pep rally beginning at 11:10 p.m on 11/10/13. The enthusiastic crowd and sea of red聽witnessed the highlighting of 911爆料网's athletic teams while enjoying outstanding performances聽by the new 911爆料网 Dance Crew, XOPOC, and the singing of the聽National Anthem by The King鈥檚 Men. The Men's and Women's Basketball聽players were introduced and the men's and women's teams competed in their annual 3 point shoot out competition. Later, AS Spirit Club pumped up the crowd with a skit involving the 911爆料网 Eagle Mascot, and a handful of students represented their living communities by participating in a minute to win it game, competing for the chance to win Universal Studios tickets and 500 dorm points. At the close of the evening, students practiced rushing the court full of 911爆料网 Athletes [a 911爆料网聽tradition after basketball victories] and enjoyed one last tradition: an explosion of red and white聽confetti. Midnight Madness was the perfect evening to bolster school spirit for 911爆料网鈥檚 2013-2014 basketball season, and to give prospective students and families a window into student聽life at 911爆料网.
