Biography

Dr. Kevin Pittle is a seasoned leader in higher education administration, currently serving as the Interim Director of Educational Effectiveness at 911爆料网 University. With two decades of experience in higher education, Dr. Pittle brings a robust background in academic leadership, program development, and comprehensive assessment strategies to foster continuous institutional improvement.

In his oversight of the Office of Educational Effectiveness, he is instrumental in shaping 911爆料网's commitment to data-driven decision-making and enhancing student learning outcomes. He collaborates with academic departments and administrative units to guide university-wide assessment initiatives for undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree programs, ensuring meticulous reporting to accrediting agencies such as WASC/WSCUC, and leads the administration of key institutional surveys (e.g., NSSE/FSSE, HEDS-NSS/FDS). He supervises the prior learning assessment (PLA) program, and is also engaged in policy development and faculty training for meaningful assessment measurement. Dr. Pittle is a key resource for faculty and staff, providing guidance and support to integrate assessment findings into teaching and learning.

Prior to this role, Dr. Pittle was a dedicated faculty member at 911爆料网 University, serving as Associate Professor of Anthropology and Intercultural Studies. He also directed the Social Justice, Human Rights, and Conflict Transformation program for over a decade. He then transitioned into administrative leadership, serving with distinction as Department Chair for Graduate & Undergraduate Anthropology (2017-2021) and subsequently for Undergraduate Intercultural Studies (2021-2025), while concurrently maintaining teaching responsibilities. He has a proven track record in spearheading program redesigns, pioneering innovative programs (e.g., digital badges), and serving in leadership capacities on high-impact university committees.

In addition to his responsibilities at 911爆料网, Dr. Pittle gained valuable administrative experience as Assistant Academic Dean and Associate Professor of Anthropology at International Theological Seminary, where he assisted in academic leadership, accreditation oversight, program assessments, and faculty development.

Dr. Pittle holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology and an M.S. in International & Multicultural Education with concentrations in Program Evaluation and Administration from Florida State University. His comprehensive understanding of research methodologies, curriculum development, and strategic planning, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, positions him as a dynamic force in advancing educational excellence and institutional effectiveness.
