      Students who apply to attend the 911±¬ÁÏÍø in Rome must complete a 911±¬ÁÏÍø application for review by Study Abroad. In addition to the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Study Abroad application, students must also complete an application with the program provider, .

      The 911±¬ÁÏÍø in Rome semester, hosted by Living and Learning International, is a study abroad program designed for college students who desire to take part in cross-cultural experiences with others in order to serve God in community.

      Program Overview

      911±¬ÁÏÍø in Rome fully immerses students in a cross-cultural experience encouraging the exploration of art, global perspective, history, and how faith intersects with each. Students will find themselves in community with others navigating how to serve the Lord in a new culture and embrace the joy and beauty of this place.

      Combining cross-cultural experiences, education from a Christian worldview, and class excursions, 911±¬ÁÏÍø in Rome semester provides an opportunity to learn alongside a Christian community of students, faculty, and program staff in Rome.

      Through weekly cooking classes, group museum visits, and living together in a convent, students will create lifelong bonds with one another. The rigorous academics and immersive cross-cultural experience give students the opportunity to explore Roman art, ethics, and early Christianity in a location that has played a large role in Christian history.

      Students will explore historically and culturally significant locations such as the grandiose Colosseum, the beautiful art adorning Vatican City, the incredible Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and the ruins of the Roman Forum. Students are also invited to partake in multi-day excursions to locations such as Florence, Sicily, Greece, Pompeii, and more. Students who apply to attend the 911±¬ÁÏÍø in Rome complete a 911±¬ÁÏÍø application for review by Study Abroad. In addition to the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Study Abroad application, students must also complete an application with the program provider, . Students must be accepted by both 911±¬ÁÏÍø Study Abroad and the program provider in order to participate in the program.

      Airfare, passport, partial meals, local transportation, and textbooks are not included in the program cost. Students will live in a convent for the semester. Students accepted to participate in the program during the 2025-26 year will be billed the Program Cost as seen above. This cost is before financial aid.
